I’m Michael Jennings-Offen, a professional video editor dedicated to crafting stories that connect with audiences on a deep, emotional level. My approach to editing is grounded in empathy—I strive to see each project through the eyes of the viewer, ensuring every cut, every transition, and every frame serves a purpose. For me, every edit has a motivation, it needs to have a reason for being, and if it doesn’t contribute to the greater narrative, it doesn’t belong.

Over the past 25 years crafting video, I’ve seen a lot of change; but through it all, stories are still stories. While the medium may change (and constantly does), the craft of storytelling itself remains the core of what I do. Be it working on a tv show, a museum installation, elements for an interactive kiosk, or even a live event; effective communication boils down to storytelling, and I bring experience, a wholistic vision, and a meticulous eye for detail to the work I create.
